Elementary school science is a wonderful time to experiment and learn about the world around you. So here are two lesson plans that I found with Search PlanIt that should give our elementary school teachers some great resources for learning about the properties of sound.
This is an entire unit’s worth of lesson plans, worksheets, and labs designed for the second grade, dealing with the basic science of sound. There are 17 labs you can add to your existing lesson plans with hands-on experiments for your students.
From the University of Missouri’s E-Theme project, here are a number of resources that can help you with your lesson plans. There are links that help to explain the basics, ThinkQuests, interactive charts and worksheets, and all would be appropriate for elementary school lesson plans.
